I joined the Newcastle University Fellwalking Club (watch for more posts as we go on various trips). To get to know everyone on the weekend they had a BBQ. We met at the student union and took the Metro to Tynemouth to have a day at the beach. We were lucky, the weather was awesome. I met lots of new people and it was a great time. Tynemouth by Metro is only 25 minutes, so whenever I feel I need to see the ocean again while I am here, it won’t be far to go.
