Had a great visit to Alnwick Castle (pronounced Annick). This is the castle where they filmed a number of scenes for Harry Potter (it was parts of Hogwarts). It was great fun to take broomstick training and see where Hagrid’s hut was located. The castle is the winter home of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland and during the stateroom tour you can see a wonderful large library with many books, but also with a large screen TV.
